Good afternoon Fields families,

Linked below is our end of year S’more newsletter, The Falcon’s Nest, which includes important information about upcoming events and activities. The S’more also has a video of our festive and fun Fiesta Parade on Thursday. Thank you to everyone who came to watch!

As we approach the final month of school, here are a few important reminders:
1. Please continue to follow all safety procedures and update your Fast Pass with a purple dot for May. We ask all parents to keep this updated as we enter a very busy time of year.
2. Tomorrow after school, we will be hosting Chalk the Walk to wish our students good luck on STAAR testing. We did not have any parent participation last STAAR test , and we would love to see a few families join us for a few minutes after school to help decorate and encourage our students. Chalk will be provided.
3. Tuesday will be a closed campus due to STAAR Math testing.
4. Please be sure to follow the guidelines for End of Year Awards Ceremonies. Space is limited, and we want to ensure all families are comfortable during these special events.
5. We have many fun activities coming up, and we want students to enjoy them safely. Attendance is very important, so please continue to bring your students to school on time each day.

Lastly, Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up. We have included a “Staff Favorites” list, along with some free and simple ideas to show our amazing and hardworking staff how much they are appreciated. We have some of the best teachers in Northside, and we love them!

Fiesta Float Parade Info

*Parents are welcome to attend. The parade will start at 8:15 and go through the front of the school. Bring a chair if you’d like.

*All ECC/ECSE, PK, Kinder, 1st, and 2nd grade students will walk in the parade.

*We ask that parents refrain from picking up their child’s float following the parade to keep from interrupting instructional time. Floats will go home with students at the end of the day.
