At Bexar County E.S.R., we work one hundred percent on donations. All of our members are volunteers, and we operate 24/7. Bexar County E.S.R.
All of the donations we raise are used directly towards our scene support mission for our First Responders. This includes purchasing food (snacks), drinks, medical supplies, gas, vehicle maintenance, uniforms, maintenance to our department, and care for our facilities. is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization that provides drinks, food, medical, restrooms, heat, or air conditioning on-site for our f
ire fighters, police officers, search and rescue. We usually provide our services when they are at a scene for an extended period of time. This group was started over 20 years ago to assist our first responders, fire fighters, police officers, and search and rescue by Mr. Bobby Briggs, and his late wife Debbie Briggs. Both of them saw a need in this field since they themselves are first responders. We respond to all fire, police, and search and rescue calls in San Antonio and our twelve surrounding counties. Upon request, we also provide scene support for certified Fire/EMS crew scene training. In addition, we also had our first “Santa Parade” during Christmas 2020, with our Rehab Bus, Utility Truck ‘Brutus’ and other First Responder vehicles, bringing Santa Claus and some holiday spirit to our local neighborhoods. We had a successful second Santa Run (two night event) in 2021 and now hope to make this an annual occurrence! Please feel free to message us for more information regarding our mission to help First Responders and how you can contribute!!! Monetary or supply donations are always welcome!!!
