San Bernardino County truly is SoCal’s playground! This morning, I had the opportunity to join Morongo Basin Search & Rescue (est. 1957) for the 47th Desert Run on my dirt bike and visit all five checkpoints.

A huge thank you to our incredible Search & Rescue personnel for helping keep our community members and visitors safe across the largest county in the contiguous U.S. Grateful for the opportunity to experience the desert and see firsthand the dedication that goes into serving our communities.

Another successful week of Operation Consequences resulted in two fi****ms seized and eight felony arrests.

Our message remains clear: If you choose to engage in illegal activities in San Bernardino County, there are consequences.

We will continue working to take illegal fi****ms off of our streets, hold offenders accountable, and keep our communities safe.

Folks, I couldn’t be more proud of this incredible group and the work they put in year after year to make the San Bernardino Sheriff's Rodeo a success.

Their work begins months before the gates ever open. They volunteer countless hours, days, nights, and right down to the final minutes before opening. They don’t complain. They don’t say it’s too much. Instead, every year they ask, “How can we make it better?”

That says everything about the heart and soul behind this rodeo.

Each person brings their own unique talents, skills, and passion to make sure our guests have the greatest experience possible. I’m incredibly proud of each and every one of them and grateful for everything they give to this event and our community.

To our rodeo team and volunteers — thank you for another unforgettable year.

Happy trails until next year!
