Yesterday, we held our regular board meeting and had the privilege of hearing presentations from three community partners. 🙌

- Peninsula Volunteers presented a grant request of up to $125,000 to enhance their transportation program.
- The Pride Center sought a grant of up to $250,000 to bolster their LGBTQ+ services.
- Additionally, the Vista Center for the Blind requested $200,000 to support their vision loss programs.

We extend our gratitude to all who participated. Join us for our next board meeting on September 2nd at 12 PM.

Ayer tuvimos nuestra reunión habitual de la junta y tuvimos el privilegio de escuchar presentaciones de tres socios comunitarios. 🙌

- Peninsula Volunteers presentó una solicitud de subvención de hasta 125.000 dólares para mejorar su programa de transporte.
- El Centro del Orgullo solicitó una subvención de hasta 250.000 dólares para reforzar sus servicios LGBTQ+.

Outside of work, she's a proud mom and a team parent for her son's volleyball team.

Last week, we organized five CEO Roundtables centered on our grant funding categories: Seniors, Behavioral Health, Medical/Clinical, Health Literacy/Active Living, and Food/Nutrition. These discussions allowed us to gain insights directly from our partners regarding the current needs within the community. A heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful partners who participated and shared openly about the challenges and opportunities they are encountering.
