Good-bye, you magnificent podocarpus. Another mature tree sacrificed for a new sidewalk. Kensington's loss is nobody's gain.

God forbid the MFers should install a ramp, or use flexible paving materials to create a slope that goes up and over the roots while staying within the maximum ADA allowable slope of 1:20

Earth Day in Kensington. Our 115+ year old heritage trees in the library park had lots of admirers today, and we were grateful for the shade.

Farewell, old pepper tree. The City got another one yesterday. This 115 year old specimen was gracing the street in front of the historically designated 1911 Charles and Iva Crouch House on Kensington Drive. Damn shame.
