MCAS Miramar leadership and staff gathered on the flightline to congratulate and bid farewell to LtCol Wilbur “Tramp” S. Oles IV after 22 years of dedicated service in the Marine Corps on May 8, 2026.

The Naval Consolidated Brig and PMO at MCAS Miramar had their annual softball game yesterday. Celebrating Law Enforcement Appreciation Week 2026, the two units reinforced their shared dedication to service and honored their mission.

As a proud member of the local community, we were honored to host and recognize the newest Eagle Scouts of San Diego earlier this week. During their visit to MCAS Miramar, Eagle Scouts toured the flightline and had their 2026 Eagle Scouts Recognition Dinner. Eagle Scouts, thank you for your contribution and dedication to the growth of our community, and congratulations on this outstanding achievement!

April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month

Yesterday, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar leadership kicked off SAAPM with the signing of a joint proclamation that reaffirmed the base and tenant commands’ commitment to preventing and reporting sexual assault and cultivating a culture of accountability, dignity, and respect.

ADRC Ribbon Cutting ✂️

The Active Duty Recreation Center is officially open! With world class amenities ranging from a theater room with recliner seats and a game room to a full kitchen and outdoor grills, the ADRC is a home away from home for our active-duty enlisted Marines and Sailors stationed at MCAS Miramar.
