Officer Gonzales is rolling through Bike Safety Month with a reminder that bike safety starts with the basics: wear your helmet, stay alert, obey traffic laws, and make yourself visible. Whether you’re riding around the neighborhood or commuting across town, a few smart choices can make all the difference. A safe ride starts before the wheels even move. Let’s do our part to keep our streets safe for everyone. 🚴♀️🧡

Last week, across Sacramento, San Diego, and Washington, D.C., our officers joined in solemn remembrance to honor those who gave their lives in the line of duty. Behind every name is a story of courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to protecting others. Their service will never be forgotten, and their memory will continue to inspire generations to come.

During National Police Week we reflect on a calling that echoes through every act of service and sacrifice: “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” and the answer so many have lived by, “Here I am. Send me!”
We honor the brave men and women who answered that call, stepping forward with courage, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to protect and serve our communities, even at the highest cost.

El Cajon Police Department is proud to share that K9 Titan has received a new bullet and stab protective vest, generously donated by Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. This critical piece of equipment helps ensure Titan’s safety while he serves alongside his handler, protecting our community every day.
This vest is more than gear—it represents peace of mind for those who depend on Titan in high-risk situations. Designed to be lightweight, custom-fitted, and NIJ certified, it provides life-saving protection so K9 Titan can continue his important work with greater security in the field.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to for their continued dedication to protecting working K9s across the country, and for honoring the memory of Milo through this vest. Their generosity directly impacts the safety and wellbeing of dogs like Titan, who put themselves on the line every day.
Thank you for supporting the K9s who serve and protect 🐾💙
