📸 SDCCD Police at the City College Mental Health Fair! 🛡️🧠

We had a great time connecting with students and staff at the San Diego City College Mental Health Fair!

Safety is about more than just security, it’s about supporting the well-being of our entire campus community. We loved chatting with everyone, sharing resources, and being part of the "community of care" here at City College.

Remember, your mental health matters. Reach out to campus counseling or any of the amazing local resources available to you! 🤝✨

Today, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his enduring legacy of leadership, service, and hope.

Dr. King reminded us that progress is built through collective effort and a shared commitment to one another:

“Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.” — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

On this MLK Day, we reflect on the values of service, respect, and community that continue to guide our work across the San Diego Community College District.

Engineer Cook passed away this morning while bravely battling a fire in Perris, CA. We stand in solidarity with and during this incredibly difficult time as they mourn the loss of a dedicated public servant.

We are forever grateful for Engineer Cook’s commitment to protecting our communities. His sacrifice and service will not be forgotten. 🖤🏁

👮‍♂️ Building Community, One Gingerbread House at a Time! 🎄

Our SDCCD Police Department team had a fantastic time visiting the Winter Wonderland event at 's Cesar Chavez Campus!

It was wonderful seeing the community come together to show off their creativity by building some truly spectacular gingerbread houses. 🏘️ And yes, even the Grinch showed up! We made sure to keep an eye on him, but he was all smiles (mostly) and posing for pictures! 💚

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and share some holiday cheer with us! Events like this truly highlight the strong connection between the campus community and our officers.

Happy Holidays, and stay safe!
