The Cover to Cover Club is back at San Diego Public Library! 🍔💛❤️

Now through Nov. 14, children 4 to 12 years old may sign up online or in-person and start earning their way to free hamburgers, cheeseburger and grilled cheese sandwiches. All it takes is reading 5 books or reading up to 300 minutes.

🤫 Plus, participants can earn up to 3 total burgers by repeating the challenge.

Attention patrons and community members! It's almost October and we have so many events planned for this month! Everything is free and open to the public, so whether you're a college student wanting to learn how to cook, a child who wants to learn how to play chess, a parent who wants a night out to listen to live music, an aspiring author, or just a science nerd or travel connoisseur– we have something for everyone!

Make sure to mark these events down on your calendars, and bring a friend!

We also have a special event for International Repair Day with San Diego Fixit Clinic on Saturday, October 17th, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. Please make sure to RSVP beforehand (the necessary QR code was posted on our page recently–please check our page for that).

San Diego Public Library has partnered with Grow with Google to offer free scholarships for Google Career Certificates in fields like cybersecurity, data analytics, and IT support, plus hands-on Google AI courses. Everything is online and self-paced, and most people finish in 3 to 6 months.

It's the newest part of San Diego Public Library's DiscoverU program, supported by Library Foundation SD and the Andrew Carnegie Foundation.
