The annual Short Story Contest is coming soon! Only the first 100 stories submitted at 7pm February 2nd will be accepted. Last year, they reached their cap within minutes, so be sure you submit right at 7!

In celebration of Black History Month, San Diego Central Library will host an author talk, (with free book handout), resource fair, and book signing with Natalie Baszile!
Natalie Baszile is the author of the novel, Queen Sugar, which was adapted for seven television seasons and nominated for an NAACP Image Award.
Event takes place Feb 24th with a resource fair at 5, book talk at 6 and book signing at 7 at Central Library downtown at 330 Park Blvd.
