Community in Action at Petco Park!

San Diego PACE was proud to partner with the San Diego Foundation for the opportunity to table at Petco Park’s Community Corner last Tuesday, May 26!

Our amazing San Diego PACE team was onsite representing our organization, connecting with the community, and sharing the many ways we care for seniors and support their families with our comprehensive services.

A big thank you to the San Diego Padres Foundation for hosting us and helping us spread the word about the care and resources available to older adults in our community. We’re grateful for partners who share our commitment to keeping seniors healthy, independent, and thriving!

Today, CalPACE thanks the California Senate for rejecting the Administration’s proposal to impose an additional cap on PACE rates. This decision helps protect stability for California’s PACE programs and the older adults who rely on coordinated, community-based care to remain healthy, independent, and connected to the services they need.

PACE works because it provides comprehensive care built around the whole person, supporting seniors with complex medical and long-term care needs while helping them remain in their homes and communities.

We appreciate the Senate’s recognition of the importance of sustaining access to quality care for California’s aging population and look forward to continued partnership as budget discussions move forward.

This Memorial Day, we take a moment to reflect on the courage and sacrifice of the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We are deeply grateful for their commitment and the freedoms their sacrifice helps preserve.

As we honor their legacy, we also extend our appreciation to their families and loved ones. Today, we remember, reflect, and recommit to carrying their spirit of service and dedication forward.
