A record setting blood drive hosted by NMRTC Twentynine Palms.

The recruitment efforts of Hospitalman 1st Class April Million came to fruition by bringing in Marines and Sailors to donate in support of the Armed Services Blood Program.

According to Million, recruiting for donors was made simple because of the full support from all levels of the command leadership and MCCES command senior enlisted leader.

“It was easy to motive personnel at the hospital as well as junior Marines and Sailors because I told them they’re supporting the warfighters mission especially with the military uptempo operations around the globe, said Million. “Just take one hour of your day to save a life.”

With over 150 prospective donors participating, the command set a new record for ASBP blood drives held at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center 29 Palms.

Thank you to the Marines, Sailors, and civilians for donating with the Armed Services Blood Program. Your donations will directly support the blood program’s mission to provide blood and blood products to warfighters and beneficiaries.
