He’ll provide tips for designing a character with personality as well as walking you through the steps of basic illustration. Materials provided. Details on Chelsea Delatorre’s entirely tin creation. From the mouth, to the woven background, and cola can pretzels, this ode to salty treats is 100% made from recycled aluminum. Chelsea is a Creative Mentor at Revision and multidisciplinary artist with a knack for making inventive pieces. We especially love this one, featured in our last exhibition. Available for purchase!

Happy Pride! San Diego gets two months of fun, June and July, our ‘unofficial’ season due to the parade. In July we celebrate Disability Pride Month as well 🏆

We are gagged over the outcome of Ariana’s Kinusaiga Bowie! ✨ We think she nailed his likeness. This Japanese fabric mosaic technique has been so fun to explore at Revision using fabric scraps and vintage frames.
Fun fact: Bowie’s eyes are often mistaken as being two different colors but he actually had a condition where one of his pupils was larger than the other.

Wanna join Revision? Our Creative Arts Program has expanded to include a 6 week specialty course in ceramics. This is taught by an expert in the field, all materials are included, and it’s offered through a sponsorship with the San Diego Regional Center, through a grant awarded by the Foundation for Developmental Disabilities. This is a small group, hands on opportunity to learn hand building, sculpture, glazing, surface decoration and more! Although is offered to adults with disabilities specifically, if you are a ceramic artist looking to become involved, reach out!
