During the final drill evaluation, the platoons are scored based on their uniforms, bearing, and movements as a cohesive unit, along with the senior drill instructor’s cadence, sword control, and movement commands.

CONGRATULATIONS CHARLIE COMPANY
U.S. Marines with Charlie Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, have completed recruit training.
The three-mile motivational run around the depot is the final physical training event before graduation and the first time friends and families see their newly transformed Marines.
After 13 weeks of recruit training, covering drill, marksmanship, basic combat skills, and Marine Corps customs and traditions, these Marines have officially earned the title United States Marine.
