Caltrans joined ICTC at the Calexico Intermodal Transportation Center Ribbon Cutting Event this morning in Calexico. This Intermodal Center will provide a safer and more secure transportation experience for all who travel through Imperial County. Congratulations!

Today we honor the memory of Stephen Palmer Sr., Caltrans District 11 Landscape Maintenance Worker. On May 4, 2011, Mr. Palmer suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a trolley while working north of the 24th Street Trolley Station in National City. 🧡

From 8 p.m. on Saturday May 2nd until 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 3rd, the SR-78 connector to South I-5, South I-5 connector to SR-78, and lanes 4-5 (Cassidy St. to Jefferson St.) on South I-5 will be closed for pavement work.

🚧805 FULL CLOSURE THIS WEEKEND MAY 1-4🚧
Hey, San Diego! We are back on for the full weekend closure of NB 805 between the 52 and Miramar Rd. Remember we had to postpone last weekend's closure for weather. Anyone traveling on 805 north of the 52 should use the 5.

🗓️Friday, May 1 at 9PM to Monday, May 4 at 5AM.

👷‍♀️Crews will be replacing a culvert and pavement to extend the life of the 805. As always, thanks to everyone for their patience as we work to improve our state highway system.

Plan ahead and expect delays.

‼️805 CLOSURE POSTPONED‼️
The scheduled weekend full closure of northbound I-805 between SR-52 and Miramar Road this weekend (April 24-27) has been postponed due to weather. We will provide the new date once it is rescheduled.
