THE FINAL BATTLE PROBLEM!

USS ANCHORAGE undergoes a test known as Final Battle Problem (FBP) that pushes them in everything that they’ve trained on before. It’s a culminating event for a ship that marks the end of its basic phase and proves that they’re ready for the next step. Now that FBP is out of the way, the ANCHORAGE prepares for its next challenge!

MARINES INCOMING!

USS Anchorage and fellow Marines partner together to tactically train with Amphibious Combat Vehicles (ACV). These vehicles help Marines perform their missions across the world, allowing them to traverse from ship to shore.

Students from Elsinore High School’s Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) take a tour onboard USS Anchorage to learn of the daily activities that happen on a U.S. Navy ship. These students train, prepare and learn so that they can become service members one day!
