Last Friday, we bid farewell to MN2 Hayes, who has been an integral part of our crew since 2022. During his time with us, he completed a deployment with the Blue Crew, worked with the combined crews, and participated in a TAV, READ-E2, and INSURV. His dedication and hard work were recognized with the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. While we're sad to see him go, we know he will continue to do great things at his next command! Congratulations on a great tour MN2! 🐬

This morning, MNSN Bettencourt was formally recognized as LCSRON’s Blue Jacket of the Quarter for last quarter! This honor is awarded to junior enlisted Sailors who exemplify superior performance, leadership, and professionalism, and an unwavering adherence to the Navy’s core values. BZ Seamen Bettencourt, we are so proud!🐬

This morning, we awarded EN1 Cantrell the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal in recognition of his outstanding performance as USS MANCHESTER’s Damage Control Training Team Coordinator. He trained the entire crew in Damage Control procedures and led MANCHESTER through a successful READ-E3, Damage Control Industrial Certification, and a 8010 drill. BZ to EN1 for his hard work, leadership, and commitment to excellence! 🐬
