Make sure to sign up for our Summer Reading Program! This year, kids ages 0-17 will get a free pass to the San Diego County Fair for registering for the Summer Reading Program June 1st-June 30th. Everyone is welcome to participate to earn prizes!

Join us on June 6th, 2026 4pm-6pm for an Artist Reception and meet with Sihyeon Park, a local artist with her art currently on exhibit at our library. Her art will be available for purchase, with some proceed benefiting the Friends of the Rancho Penasquitos Branch Library.

Join us for Bike Anywhere Day!

On Thursday, May 21, don’t be a fish out of water—trade your car for a bike and "swim" upstream to our Pit Stop. Whether you’re a local "perch" or just passing through, we’d love to see you!

Our May calendar of events is here and we are so excited for a couple of special events. May 16th is part of our new Financial Literacy series by Cal Coast Credit Union. This one is for kids and adults to learn about proper credit card spending. May 21st is SANDAG Bike Everywhere Day. Stop by out library 6:30am-9:30am to pick up some treats. Last, but not least, Sihyeon Park will be exhibiting her art work at our library and hosting a reception on May 30th.
