Black Youth Initiative Mentee: Meet Logan Davis. Logan is one of two interns placed in our office through the Black Youth Initiative (BYI).
As a readiness initiative, BYI provides direct support to Black high school students to prepare our students, as they pursue their career and college goals, with needed skills and competencies to meet the demands of the evolving workplace.
Logan resides in Emerald Hills and is a 10th grader at O’Farrell. Logan wants to be an entrepreneur and has already had several successful small businesses, including: dog walking, pet sitting, and a car wash.
Today, many of those devoted to serving others shared words of wisdom with Logan, as he starts his sophomore year.
