USS McCLUSKY (FFG-41)

McCLUSKY has been awarded the Coast Guard Special Operations Service (SOS) Ribbon. The awarding of the SOS Ribbon applies to those Sailors that deployed onboard McCLUSKY between 10 April - 26 September 2014.

Eligibility Requirements. Personnel must be attached to a participating unit and be present for not less than 21 non-consecutive days during the period the unit is engaged in the special operation or serve for the full period if the operation is less than 21-days duration.

After 31 years of honorable service in the United States Navy, USS McCLUSKY "Mighty Mac" officially secured her hatches today. "Fair winds and following seas."

Congratulations to McCLUSKY's final Sailors of the Quarter, First Quarter: LS1(SW/AW) Blevins (SSOQ); PS2(SW/AW) Johnson (SOQ); GSM3(SW) Vandenhueval (JSOQ) and BMSN(SW) Punch (BJOQ). Job well done shipmates!

Congratulations to EM3(SW) Gordon on his qualification as an Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS). He is McCLUSKY's final ESWS Sailor.
