Join us to learn what our Exceptional Family Members Program and Respite Program is all about!!

During this session we will tackle two topics: the Exceptional Family Members Program (EFMP) and the eligibility requirements to enroll in our Respite Care Program. We will first discuss an overview of what the EFMP program is, the benefits, and how to enroll. Then we will discuss one of the programs offered to eligible patrons of the EFMP program, the Respite Care program. We will discuss what is respite care, what the parameters for using respite care are, as well as the rate of reimbursements for respite care for eligible patrons.

This workshop will be offered virtually or in-person at building 2525 on MCAS Miramar.

Base access required to attend in-person.

Open to all DoD authorized patrons.

Before we wrap up the month of June, we wanted to remind you that we still have our Sunny Summer Bash event coming up this Friday, June 27th. Get ready for a fun-filled afternoon to soak up the sun, get to know your community resources, and enjoy a FREE sensory friendly movie "Inside Out" with snacks! Eligible patrons will also have the opportunity to win fun prizes including tickets to a local attraction.

Our workshop series for parents offers valuable insights into special education and how to advocate for your child’s need. Let’s create a brighter future together!

Our first session is February 27th T 10am, giving an introduction to Special Education, Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs), and Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs). All workshop dates are now live, check out our Eventbrite for more information!

A Change to EFMP Respite Care Begin by selecting your desired location. Change your location any time by clicking the "Change Location" button located at the top right corner of every page. Avoid repeated prompts to select a location, bookmark the url for future use.
