Old Town San Diego State Historic Park will host Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, Jan. 14, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The main event will be the pet blessing by Rev. Michael Sinor between 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. A pet costume contest will take place at 2:30 p.m. featuring prizes for several categories including best dressed and best pet-owner look alike.

An Old Town San Diego celebration of Mexican Independence Day!

Antiono Garra Remembrance Celebration January 6, 2018, 2:00-4:00 PM.

The First San Diego Courthouse Museum will again be hosting this special event. Come hear such notable authors as George Phillips and Paul Chase, as well as other Native American experts talk about Garra's life and tragic death. This is a free event.
