Here is the June Calendar of Events for Balboa Branch Library!

All San Diego Public Library locations will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026 for Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 26 at 11:30am.

Join us next Tuesday, 5/26 at 4 p.m. for Crafternoon: Cherry Blossom Tree Art. In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage month, create your own cherry blossom using tempera paint. For ages 5 & up.

Join us this Saturday, 5/16 at 2 p.m. for a free concert with Westwind Brass.

Westwind Brass presents "American Voices: A Brass Celebration of America at 250" — a vibrant concert featuring the music of America's most celebrated composers, from the jazz-infused harmonies of Duke Ellington and George Gershwin to the sweeping landscapes of Aaron Copland and the irresistible rhythms of Scott Joplin.
