Welcome to Rockets Rec's, our weekly Wednesday post where we share a staff member's or customer's favorite store recommendation of the week! ✨

This week, Ronnie is showing off some great finds in our TCG bulk! In Ronnie's words:

"Gotta stock up and get ready for the Pauper Rockets Series event in December!" ⚔️

Ronnie did win our first ever cash Pauper tournament, so you could say he knows what he's talking about! We've got bulk boxes full of Pokémon and Magic cards spanning new and older sets that are easily accessible and ready to be sorted through at your leisure. Our $5 Fill A Box is a great way to track down cards for Pauper, maybe a favorite Pokémon, or just tons of tokens...hey, sometimes you need at least 13 squirrels on the field to save you! 🐿️🦑

🚀🏆 Rockets Series Modern 1K: Results 🏆🚀

Congratulations to our Rockets Series Modern 1K Winner, Gabi Ruiz! 🏆✨

This past Saturday was an absolute blast, with 35 amazing players battling through six difficult rounds of Swiss in our second event of the season for those precious Rockets Series points and some LA Regionals practice! Modern looks great in terms of diversity and our Top 8 was well rounded; there were honestly more Jakes that made it into Top 8 than copies of the same deck. Finals pitted Jake Conlon's Esper Blink deck vs Gabi on Ruby Storm. Gabi has won quite a few Modern events with Ruby Storm, and this one turned out to be no exception in just two games as Gabi was able to lock up the Champion title, winner's pin, and a whole lot of Series points! 👑🔥

🏆 Top 8 Players

🥇 Gabi Ruiz - Ruby Storm
🥈 Jake Conlon - Esper Blink
🥉 Jake Bailey - Samwise Combo
🥉 Gio Chisci - Broodscale
🥉 Matt Donathan - 4C Samwise
🥉 Devan Mayer - Kethis Combo
🥉 Noah Shalabi - Esper
🥉 Jacob Bramlage - Prowess

Congrats again to Gabi, our Top 8 competitors, and as always thank you to everyone who came out to compete! Don't forget you can check out all the replays on our Twitch ! ❤💙

We hope everyone enjoyed the event - next up in the Rockets Series will be our Standard 1K RCQ on November 7th, so mark your calendars and we'll see you there! 💥🚀
