Congratulations to the new Filipino citizens who were sworn in at this weekend's Consular Outreach by the Los Angeles Consulate General team. They, along with volunteers from COPAO, the Filipino Chamber of Commerce Greater San Diego, and Alpha Phi Omega Alumni Association of San Diego, worked all weekend to serve our kababayans!

The Honorary Consul led a delegation entitled Kapwa Leadership Journey in early February 2026. Over 20 Filipino-Americans from San Diego County went to Metro Manila to learn about Filipino history and exchange ideas with various leaders from De La Salle University, University of the Philippines, Baseco Village and Gawad Kalinga, Baseco. The group heard from leaders of all types, including academic, student bodies, informal settlements and village leaders.
