We celebrated the end of our summer of swimming lessons with a field trip to the ocean! Nothing like getting an opportunity to practice out on a San Diego beach!

Summer swimming lessons at RefugeeNet! Every kid receives their own swimsuit and towel. Not only is it a TON of fun, but it is also a vital skill when you live in a city like San Diego. For many refugee kids, this is their first time learning!

RefugeeNet just finished up our week long summer science camp! Kids learned about things like molecules, engineering principles, and more through fun activities and a couple of incredible field trips!

This past weekend the students from our tutoring program went on a field trip to Kit Carson Park in Escondido. 🚌🛝 They were accompanied by our partners and friends from the Bishop’s School of La Jolla. The kids toured the sculpture garden, played games, fed the ducks, and had an overall amazing time! 🦆⛲️😁
