J’ai le plaisir de vous partager une belle opportunité pour nos étudiants et pour notre communauté francophone : le Francophone Job Fair, qui aura lieu le lundi 17 novembre 2025 de 16h00 à 19h00 à UC San Diego.

Cet événement, organisé en partenariat avec la French-American Chamber of Commerce, l’AATF-San Diego, le Consulat Général de France à Los Angeles, UCSD Social Sciences - Linguistics Department, et le French Club de UCSD, permettra aux participants de :
-rencontrer des employeurs de premier plan,
-explorer des stages, emplois à temps partiel et carrières à temps plein,
-élargir leur réseau professionnel dans un cadre francophone.

Je vous encourage vivement à partager cette invitation avec vos étudiants, et plus largement dans vos réseaux. C’est une excellente occasion de valoriser le français dans un contexte professionnel et de montrer à nos apprenants les débouchés concrets liés à leur apprentissage.

C’est avec plaisir que l'AATF à San Diego vous invite, ainsi que vos collègues, à vous joindre à nous pour un délicieux déjeuner français (options véganes disponibles) et une formation continue ce samedi 16 novembre, de 11h00 à 13h30. Notre collègue de l’AATF-SoCal à Los Angeles, Roxanne Lecrivain, animera la formation. C’est une excellente intervenante, et je suis très enthousiaste de vous la présenter ! *Presentation Description:

AI makes the news weekly as it changes progressively not only industries but also our daily lives. It is making its way in the French classroom, so why not for the better?! In this session, we will talk and TRY different AI platforms, use them to save time during class preparation, help students develop critical thinking skills through analysis and discussion, and finally learn how to use it in the French classroom to increase equity and student engagement!

Level: The presentation on AI will be introductory in nature with some information for more experienced participants. All levels welcomed – K-12 & University.

Materials: Please bring your computer for some activities on the spot.

High School French teacher at Viewpoint near Los Angeles, and on the committee of the AATF SoCal chapter, I specialize in highly interactive classes blending a purposeful use of technology and movement in the classroom. I have taught in China, Italy, Guatemala, and facilitated programs in Nigeria and Ethiopia between others.
