đź’—đź’ś Pink & Purple Run/Walk: Sailors Stand Together đź’śđź’—

Sailors came together in pink and purple to honor those affected by breast cancer and domestic violence. Every step represents strength, courage, hope, and support for those who have faced these challenges.

As a Navy community, we stand together to raise awareness, support survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and remind others that no one has to face these battles alone. 💪💗💜

Thank you to all the Sailors who participated and showed their support!

Hello neighbors,

You may notice an uptick in jet traffic at NASNI over the next several days as we support scheduled flight operations and fleet readiness. We appreciate your patience and continued support.

Happy 251st Birthday, U.S. Navy!

Naval Base Coronado leadership celebrated the Navy’s 251st birthday on October 13th at Naval Air Station North Island (NASNI). Capt. Loren Jacobi, CO, Capt. Jeremiah Ragadio, XO, and CMDCM Nicholas Prebeg, CMC, visited Sailors at the NASNI Galley and thanked the Navy Exchange staff at the NASNI NEX for their support of the installation community during a cake cutting commemorating the Navy's birthday.

Since 1775, Sailors have protected our nation at sea and stood ready around the globe. Today, we honor that legacy and the Sailors, civilians and families who carry it forward.

Recent Concern About Housing Condition

Happy to report that the only rooms without AC in Mills Hall are unoccupied. The record breaking heat is tough and equipment breakdowns happen. Every barracks room at Naval Base Coronado has a QR code on the door to instantly report outages. The unaccompanied housing staff is on duty and ready to help.

The heat in San Diego is real, and so is our commitment to Sailors. Installation leadership is actively investigating reported concerns and working to resolve issues as they arise.

We take housing concerns seriously, whether they come directly from Sailors or through legitimate media inquiries. What we won’t do is confuse social media engagement with verified facts or meaningful solutions.
