Come learn about the draft Sustainability and Climate Action Plan (S‑CAP)! Through posterboards, presentations and discussions, the forum will create shared understanding, spark conversations and build momentum for the work ahead. Attendees will have an opportunity to review the current framework and provide input before the plan moves forward. Light refreshments will be served, and the first 50 attendees will receive a UC San Diego Sustainability tote bag.

If your department or organization plans to host any events related to Earth Week, please submit them to the Sustainability Events Calendar linked in our bio. 🌎🌱

Upcoming sustainability events! 🧜‍♂️🌎

What sustainability & climate actions matter most to you? Join us for Climate Conversations on Wednesday, Feb. 25th from 2:30-3:30pm in the Climate Action Lab for an important conversation about the forthcoming Sustainability & Climate Action plan. In this crucial stage of development, your input will help highlight what matters most to the campus community - from communication & engagement, to academics, dining, clean energy, and more. A complimentary lunch will be provided!

We will also be hosting a tour of the Central Utilities Plant on March 4th! This interactive experience offers a chance to see campus power generation in action and explore potential paths to decarbonization. While the tour for this month is currently at capacity, be on the lookout for future tour dates in the spring! ⚡️💡

What matters most to you? As we continue developing the S-CAP, you’re invited to share what sustainability and climate actions are of highest priority for you. Participants will be entered into a drawing to win Birch Aquarium tickets. To be included in the drawing, please share your input using the survey link in our bio by Saturday, February 28th! 🌊🌎
