From the Commanding Officer: Final official post of the USS RENTZ (FFG 46). This morning, we gathered one last time as a unit at Mercer Hall for a group breakfast. With the decommissioning ceremony having been held on 09 May, and the barge turned over on 22 May, all that was left was for one final muster to have breakfast, hand out orders, and go our separate ways. We will always be RENTZ Sailors, no matter where our paths take us from here. It has been my honor to command such a fine and outstanding group of men and women. Dread Nought!
