The San Diego Police Department Multi-Cultural Community Relations Office serves the very diverse community members of the City of San Diego.

HISTORY: The Multi-Cultural Community Relations Office, formerly the Indochinese Storefront, was established by the San Diego Police Department in 1987 to address the specific needs of our growing refugee population in San Diego. We initially focused on the Southeast Asian and East African communities. We recently widened our mission to serve the Middle Eastern communities as well, but we are alwa

In celebration of Filipino American History Month (FAHM), we were honored to be invited to present at the Sweetwater Union High School District 2024 Magkaisa (Letโ€™s Unite) High School Conference. We represented the San Diego Police Department in front of a full house (standing room only), classroom of students interested in a career in law enforcement. We had great questions and conversations from the group about our Cadet Program, Salary, Hiring Expectations and having a career that would make our โ€œParents Proudโ€ regardless of our ethnic backgrounds.
