The San Diego Workforce Partnership proudly collaborated with the San Diego International Airport Human Resources Department and San Diego City College to host a career fair, bringing together a strong network of 27 partner businesses that are actively hiring with multiple job openings. This event created a valuable opportunity for job seekers to connect directly with employers and learn more about a wide range of career pathways.

More than 500 job seekers attended the event, demonstrating a high level of community interest and enthusiasm.

Many employers conducted on-the-spot interviews, giving attendees an immediate chance to showcase their skills and make a strong impression. This level of engagement helped make the event especially impactful, fostering real-time connections between businesses and candidates and reinforcing the Workforce Partnership's commitment to supporting both employers and the community.

Our team had a fantastic time in Phoenix last week connecting with peers and hearing from national leaders at the NAWDP - National Association of Workforce Development Professionals 42nd Annual Conference. We loved diving into this year’s theme, “Rising to the Challenge,” and exploring innovative strategies for our evolving industry. It was inspiring to collaborate, learn workforce best practices and bring fresh insights back to San Diego.
