Mental health is part of our overall well-being, and taking care of ourselves helps us better care for others. 💙

Each year, Father Joe’s Villages brings our team members together for our Wellness Fair — creating space to connect, recharge and prioritize wellness as a community.

Our mission starts with caring for our neighbors, and that includes caring for the people who show up every day to serve them. Because when we build a culture where mental health, connection and well-being matter, we strengthen the entire community.

A monumental day for San Diego. 💙🏗️

In the heart of our Village, a new chapter is beginning that will create 500+ affordable homes, including specialized housing and care for seniors across San Diego as well as additional support services.

A $50 million investment from Dr. Irwin Jacobs is helping turn this vision into reality, with the leadership of Deacon Jim Vargas, President & CEO of Father Joe’s Villages, and the support of leaders across San Diego. We are grateful to Dr. Jacobs and his family for standing with us as we work toward a future where every person in our community has a safe place to call home.

It was an incredible day to witness what can happen when philanthropy, government, service providers, faith communities, and neighbors come together with one shared goal: ending homelessness in San Diego.

We are proud to be building a future where more of our neighbors have a safe, affordable place to call home. What an exciting time to be part of Father Joe’s Villages and our mission to end homelessness, one life at a time. 💙

One year of opening doors, building trust and helping people take their next step toward recovery. 💜

Today we’re celebrating one year of our Detox Program at Father Joe’s Villages. Since opening our 44-bed program, we have welcomed more than 500 individuals seeking support on their journey to recovery.

In this video, our Chief Health Officer, Dr. Megan Partch, reflects on one year of the program and the moments that have stayed with her. Here’s to one year of hope, healing and new beginnings — and to everyone who has been part of the journey. 💙
