Learning new skills, connecting with community partners, and making safety a priority. 🚑🦉
This week, Father Joe’s Villages employees participated in our annual Safety Fair, an interactive event focused on workplace safety, emergency preparedness, and everyday wellness. Team members explored hands on demonstrations, connected with local vendors, learned practical safety tips, and met an American Barn Owl!
Safety is a shared responsibility, and events like these help equip our team with the knowledge and resources to stay prepared every day. ❤️

A new Culinary Arts Program (CAPS) class is officially underway! 👨🍳🥕
Under the guidance of Chef Helen, students are building valuable culinary skills that can open doors to employment and long-term stability. From learning knife techniques and food preparation to understanding kitchen safety and teamwork, each lesson is designed to prepare participants for success in the food service industry.
At Father Joe's Villages, programs like CAPS provide more than job training—they create opportunities for confidence, growth, and a brighter future.
We can't wait to see what this class accomplishes. ✨

If these walls could talk, they’d tell stories of resilience, courage, and incredible transformation.
For many, this entrance marks the beginning of a new chapter. It's a place to find shelter, healing, opportunity, and community. Every day, we witness the power of hope and the impact of coming together to support our neighbors.
Welcome to a place where second chances become fresh starts. 💙 Neighbors.org

Songs of praise filled the air on Saturday as the Camino de California Eucharistic Pilgrimage made its way to Father Joe’s Villages. 💫
From May 29 through June 7, pilgrims traveled across Southern California, visiting parishes, ministries, and communities along the route as they carried the Eucharist across the region. As part of their journey, they visited Father Joe’s Villages, where community members came together for music, prayer, and reflection. ✨
The visit was made even more meaningful through the distribution of hygiene kits and water to our neighbors in need. Moments like these remind us that small acts of kindness and a welcoming community can make a lasting impact. 💙
Thank you to all who helped make this special day possible.

Our Street Health Outreach team brings compassionate care directly to neighbors experiencing homelessness, meeting people where they are and helping connect them to critical services, treatment, and support.
Every interaction is an opportunity to improve health and create a pathway toward stability. 💙

Every number represents a neighbor, a family, and a moment of hope. Thanks to our supporters, volunteers, and community partners, we're helping ensure more people have access to the meals they need.
Thank you for being part of the impact. Neighbor.org ✨

The Growing Movement for Shelters to Make Room for Pets
Shelters recognize that many would rather sleep on the street than leave their animals behind.
