All prospective NDACS students are required to be screened and have a favorable evaluation prior to admission. Screening evaluations will be conducted by certified Navy Drug and Alcohol Counselors (military or civilian) assigned to a Navy Treatment Facility. Other applicants (Coast Guard, Army, and foreign military students) are required to submit a completed application package and be screened by a qualified counselor.
