Afloat Training Group- ATG San Diego

On September 27th, 2024, Afloat Training Group San Diego held their CPO pinning ceremony. Congrats to ATG San Diego's newest Chief Petty Officers, Class 131! Navy Chief, Navy Pride!

On August 29th 2024, Commander Michael J. Beer officially relieved Captain Brandon J. Burkett as the Commanding Officer following a successful tenure at Afloat Training Group San Diego. We thank Capt. Burkett for his dedication to the Afloat Trainers on the waterfront and look forward to CDR Beer taking charge as our Sailors continue their mission to train watch teams across the San Diego waterfront.

On June 20th 2024, Captain Brandon J. Burkett officially relieved CAPT Jermaine B. Brooms as the Commanding Officer following a successful tour at Afloat Training Group San Diego. We thank Capt. Brooms for his excellent leadership and guidance to the Afloat Training team and welcome Capt. Burkett for guidance and wisdom as we continue to train sailors and watch teams across the San Diego waterfront.

On April 1st, we celebrated 131 years of heritage and commitment to the Navy.
