Happy 5th Anniversary to the love of my life. As our marriage grows so does my love for you. Thank you for being patient, loving, forgiving and commitment to our growth. It has always been very clear to me that our deep love for one another is the foundation of our marriage. Grateful to God for us!

What a powerful experience touring the “Remember Us The Holocaust” (RUTH) exhibit, available until June 28th 2026 at the La Jolla/Riford Library. Thank you to Sandy Sheller for giving us a tour of the exhibit and sharing so many incredible stories.

Our family went out to support our friend, Tenzin perform ballet in the production of Snow White at Joan B. Kroc Theatre. We are delighted to join in these magical moments and my daughter left inspired by the beautiful ballet performance. 🩰

It’s summer time and that means summer camps are in full swing! ☀️🕶️
This week, my staff made several sunscreen donation drop-offs to most Parks and Recreation facilities and other community centers across the district. This included Pence Elementary, Montgomery Waller, Silverwing Recreation Center, Robert Egger Recreation Center, Southcrest Recreation Center, Sherman Heights Community Center, Memorial Senior Center, and Memorial Recreation Center to deliver sunscreen to help kids and adults stay safe and have fun in the summer! Thank you to for your donation of sunscreen!

Thank you to our guides Pam and Linda for giving my team and I an educational tour of the newly renovated Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints here in San Diego! We admired the beautiful architecture and learned about the history of the temple! Thank you for having us at your open house!

This morning I had the pleasure of recognizing alongside my colleagues an important moment in our nation’s history and reflect on the significance of Juneteenth! Juneteenth reminds us of the preserverance and resilience of the Black community and the long struggle to ensure that freedom and equal rights were not only promised but made a reality. We honor those who continued to advocate for justice even after emancipation was declared, recognizing the progress often requires more than the passage of a law. I am proud to have recognized Juneteenth and the ongoing contributions of the Black community to our city, our state, and our nation! 👏🏼
