We successfully filled 2 whole containers! Thank you to all the volunteers and residents for coming out to dispose of their unwanted items! Also, big thank you to Raccoon Rubbish Removal and SOHIL for partnering with us to provide e-waste recycling! Stay tuned for more upcoming dumpster drop-offs in your area!

Volunteer with us this Saturday May 30th at Memorial Rec Center to help clean up and beautify our parks! This event is being led by San Diego Parks and Rec with support from San Diego FC.

We will be doing all sorts of beautification including trash pick-up, graffiti removal, and spreading mulch!

This event is in collaboration Raccoon Rubbish Removal and SOHIL and will take place on 195 Virginia Ave, San Ysidro, CA 92173. Propane tanks, tires, large appliances, water heaters and hazardous waste will not be accepted!

Thank you UCSD for inviting my office to the UCSD vs SDSU Baseball Rivalry Night! Rodrigo from our office attended the game as he is a current UCSD student and was able to see some familiar faces from other legislative offices! Way to go Tritons! 👏⚾

Ms. Aimee Cuellar-Martinez has show unwavering commitment to young people in District 8, ensuring every student has access to opportunities that help them thrive. Ms. Cuellar Martinez represents the very best of our educators: those who change lives not with grand gestures, but with daily acts of care, advocacy, and belief in their students. Those who shows up with heart, who lift students when they doubt themselves, and who quietly shape the future one young person at a time. For these reasons and more, the City of San Diego proudly proclaims May 19, 2026, as Aimee Cuellar Martinez Day! 👏
