The deployment of Marines and the National Guard against peaceful demonstrators is an outrageous abuse of power. We stand with protestors, with immigrant communities, and with all those rising up to defend democracy.
At Run Women Run, we support candidates running for office to protect the rights and freedoms of all San Diegans. In moments like this, we are reminded why representation matters — and why we must continue building power in our communities.
If you’re protesting this week in San Diego or anywhere across the region, please stay safe. And if you’re not in the streets, you can still help protect our communities by sharing Know Your Rights information and supporting those facing ICE enforcement.
