The No on Measure G campaign would like to thank the voters of San Diego County for rejecting SANDAG’s proposed half-cent sales tax increase.
Despite being outspent by over $2.5 million, this grassroots effort prevailed because of the determination of elected officials, community stakeholders, and most importantly, the residents of San Diego County. This victory sends a clear message that San Diegans will no longer accept promises without accountability.
SANDAG has failed San Diegans time and time again—with a track record of mismanagement, broken promises, and outright corruption. Now, they’re coming for more of your hard-earned money with Measure G. This is our chance to say enough is enough!

SANDAG staff used taxpayer-funded credit cards on extravagant dining SANDAG staff dined at Rei Do Gado, Donovan’s steakhouse and the U.S. Grant Hotel. One expert called the transactions a “clear abuse” of public money.
