A huge thank you to the Scripps Ranch Kiwanis Club for donating 193 backpacks for military and Veteran families!

These backpacks will be distributed at our Cammies to College event on July 25 at Liberty Station, to help military children start the school year with supplies, support, and confidence.

Yesterday, we honored Memorial Day — a day of remembrance for the service members who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice, and the families who carry their legacy, remain at the heart of why this work matters.

At STEP, we are grateful for the opportunity to stand beside military and Veteran families with care, dignity, and support.

We remember. We honor. We carry their legacy forward.

Our purpose isn't just just about getting clients through the tough moments. It’s about walking alongside them, step by step - toward stability, confidence, and a better future 💙

When life throws a curveball, sometimes the simplest things can make a world of difference. Groceries. Baby essentials. A friendly chat at a community event.

Our distributions help lighten the everyday load for military and Veteran families, while also creating moments for connection and a bridge to further support through our Financial Wellness Counseling Program.

Finding relief is just the beginning. We're here to guide families toward long-term financial wellness, step by step. 🤝

Emma has been making waves in the San Diego community with her amazing work, and we’re honored that she chose STEP to recieve a $5,000 grant through this incredible program. The Tony Gwynn Community All-Stars Program, created by the San Diego Padres, highlights local high school students who are making a big impact through leadership and service.

Emma, thank you for your huge heart, your dedication, and for uplifting STEP in such a special way. We appreciate you and all the kindness you bring to the community! 💙
