If you’ve visited our downtown offices since December 2024, you’ve likely been greeted by this friendly face of our receptionist, John.
We’re incredibly proud to share that John recently earned his Master of Public Administration from SDSU, a huge accomplishment! While we’re sad to see him go, we’re excited for him as he begins a new chapter. John’s last day with us will be June 18th.

SDCERS' Board of Administration just approved the FY 2027 COLA! All members whose retirement or DROP entry date is on or before June 30, 2026 will receive the maximum 2% COLA increase, applied beginning with their July 2026 pension payment. See the article linked below for more information:
