Hi all! Make sure to share the following!
From our party!!!
“Join us for a MEGA walk to get everything you need to canvass local voters in support of Proposition 50. Training, refreshments, and materials, will be provided at the event, and all canvassers will receive a free Yes on 50 yard sign!.
If approved by voters, Prop. 50 would enact temporary congressional maps for 2026–2030, ensuring fair representation, protecting voting rights, and giving California a stronger voice in Congress.
Volunteers will be using the MiniVAN app for canvassing, which provides access to a list of Democratic voters on your smartphone. You can download a list of targeted voters near the meeting location or anywhere in the county.”

Dear Democratic Clubs,
As you already know, this is a pivotal time for our state and country, and we as a party need your help.
This week, we will be canceling our regularly scheduled Council of Clubs meeting. In its place, we have a call to action from our Chair and your Party.
First — On Saturday, October 18th, 2025, the Party will be partnering with the No Kings March. We will not only walk in solidarity with our communities but also promote the event as a “ballot collection event.” Our Party is asking members and clubs to use the Mobilize link below so we can ensure as many attendees as possible bring their completed ballots to the march.👉 Please share this Mobilize link moving forward:https://www.mobilize.us/sandiegodems/event/857728/
Second — On Saturday, October 18th, 2025, the Party will also be fielding a team of volunteer organizers to help direct people to ballot boxes and collect ballots for turn-in. We are signing up volunteers to join our GOTV phone bank and canvassing shifts. Volunteers should arrive early—at 9:00 AM—so we can set up the tent, distribute materials, and conduct a brief training.👉 Sign up to volunteer here:https://www.mobilize.us/sandiegodems/event/857728/
Third — On Saturday, October 25th, 2025, we are launching a MEGAWALK to Get Out the Vote!👉 Please share this Mobilize link to sign up for the Megawalk:https://www.mobilize.us/sandiegodems/event/858074/
Polling for Proposition 50 is close — according to the San Diego Union-Tribune, “...Fifty-one percent of likely voters surveyed this month said they are voting yes on Prop. 50, compared with 49% of registered voters who said the same in mid-August, when a special election was still uncertain.
Back in August, 30% of registered voters polled said they would vote no on a ballot measure, compared to 34% of likely voters surveyed this month.” (Source: SDUT)
This is game time and we need you to help win.
Please share these events with your clubs and networks. In Solidarity with our Communities Dr. Indroneal BanerjeeDirector of ClubsSan Diego County Democratic Party
