We're excited to kick off the SDCDS Leadership Series, bringing together a cohort of early career dentists for an interactive program designed for dentists within 10 years of graduation.

Each session focuses on a key topic and features multiple speakers, offering a mix of perspectives, practical strategies, and interactive discussion. Our first session, Leading with Clarity: Communication, Consent, and Risk Management, set the stage for a great year ahead!

One of the best parts of what we do is getting the opportunity to collaborate with students and future professionals.

We recently worked with San Diego State University students enrolled in their MIS program. Throughout the project, they learned more about our organization and helped develop ideas and solutions focused on improving our organizational processes and future operations.

We attended their poster session, which featured SDCDS and the solution they developed. Overall, we were impressed by their understanding of our organization and their ability to create a recommendation that was thoughtful and relevant to the work we do.

A huge thank you to Molor Haschuluu, Mae Mansour, Vincent Manalac, Rory Yau, Zaid Yunis, and Riley Peterson for leading this project!

From San Diego to Sacramento ✈️

This week, SDCDS representatives traveled to Sacramento for Advocacy Day to meet with San Diego legislators, learn more about CDA policy initiatives, and advocate for issues affecting dentistry and patient care across California.

We are proud of our members who took the time to represent SDCDS and explain these important policies to our local elected officials. Thank you to California Dental Association (CDA) for inviting us and arranging a great day!
