While Santa’s out there navigating by the North Star, we’re the ones keeping the lights on for mariners!

This season, we’ve got our own version of “naughty or nice” list:

Out with the old, in with the new. Point Reyes just got a new LED upgrade!

Meet ANT San Francisco's newest Advanced & Rescue Climbers!

These individuals have reached new heights-literally! As advanced and rescue climbers, they're trained to maintain critical aids to navigation (ATON) and ensure safety every step of the way. From fixing lights to training up on rescue techniques, they've proven they're up to the challenge!

We really *lit* up the place! The crew of ANT San Francisco, with the bright assistance of CGC Alder, hiked up Farallon Island to give the old beacon a modern LED makeover. It was no small feat, but now the island’s light is shining stronger than ever!

Big shout out to Station Bodega Bay for reaching out to ANT San Francisco to tackle a fallen tree branch. Not only did we lend a helping hand but we were able to qualify 6 of our new crew members as chainsaw operators! U.S. Coast Guard Station Bodega Bay

From Pigeon Point to Point Bonita, ANT San Francisco has been on the move this month, meticulously maintaining buoys and beacons all around the Bay!

ANT San Francisco took rescue training to new heights this week! Our team simulated rescues with a dummy hanging from the tower to ensure our climbers are always prepared to handle any challenges that may dangle before us!
