DOCTORS, WE WILL BE SLAMMED!!!!
We haven't had a Bill Graham event since March. Which means we will be inundated with participants, in dire need of eye care, at our October 19th event. This is less than a month away and we only have one OD confirmed... and she's flying in from Los Angeles!! We need at least 11 more.
Doctors, if we ever needed you, THIS is it!! I'm tagging all the ODs in this group (no matter where you live), and asking this question:
Will you volunteer with us on OCTOBER 19th?
Please respond in the "comment" in one of three ways:
1) Yes, the whole day.
2) Yes, but I can only do part of the day
3) Not sure yet, but will have an answer by October 5th
4) I'm sorry I won't be able to attend this time.
I, personally, thank you for taking a moment to respond.

December 16th is around the corner and we desparately need everyones support and participation at this years final event at the Bill Graham Civic Center. The holidays are probably the most difficult time of the year for our clients and we are hoping to provide more services than ever before. Please confirm you will be able to volunteer and attend. Also post your "job" and if you will be able to bring any equipment with you to the event. I look forward to seeing all of you and as always... Thank You!

POOR VISION DOES NOT HAVE TO BE AN OBSTACLE FOR THOSE TRYING SO HARD TO IMPROVE THEIR LIVES.
We humbly ask you to donate a minimum of only $18, the average cost for us to provide a pair of Rx glasses to those who are in dire need of eye care. For want of a pair of glasses is often the only thing standing in the way of someone finding employment.
The transforming and astonishing power of vision can change someone's life! Please, make a donation now.
Once you’ve made a donation (click on the link below), we ask you to share this link with your Facebook friends and family.
Share with them the STAGGERING IMPORTANCE of eyesight. Please ask them to join you and us in The Givin’ of Vision.
We thank you! :)

Please Volunteer... not everyone receives this gift ♡
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! We were just informed that the Bill Graham Auditorium cannot host the PHC event on AUGUST 19th. PHC is searching for alternative dates in late July and, as soon as a new date has been confirmed, we'll post it here.
We apologize for this inconvenience as we know a lot of you have already made plans to come in on August 19th.
Please stay tuned...

Dispensing day is Jan 15th, and we need experienced opticians to come help us give away the fruits of our labor. It's the best time to help, as you get to see WHY we do what we do to help people get glasses who otherwise wouldn't have access to them. 25 Vaness, 6th floor. Please let us know if you can attend!

Driven From Silicon Valley’s ‘Jungle,’ Homeless Face Limited Options Environmental concerns have led San Jose to clear a vast homeless camp, but in one of the nation’s priciest housing markets, not everyone has a place to go.
Congrats to another PHC vision event in the Castro. 31 Pairs of glasses ready to be made at the lab.
