Work Authorization for Cameroonian F1 Students

The Secretary of Homeland Security suspends certain requirements governing on-campus and off-campus employment for Cameroonian F1 students.

The suspension is for Cameroonian F1 students who are in the U.S. as of June 7, 2022 and who were experiencing severe economic hardship.

TPS for Cameroon
The Temporary Protected Status (TPS) registration process for Cameroon is now open.

Individuals applying for TPS must submit F I-821 during the initial registration period from June 7, 2022 to December 7, 2023.

Only individuals who were in the U.S. as April 5, 2022 are eligible for this TPS]

At ‘Touray Tower,’ the Broken Heart of New York’s Gambian Community Abdoulie Touray is believed to have been the first Gambian to move into 333 E. 181st Street. He drew scores of compatriots to the building where 17 died in a fire.
