Please join members of the Bay Area Japanese American community for a special opportunity to step into San Francisco's Presidio Building 35.

The current occupants, the SF Bay School, are opening up their facility to the community to visit the former headquarters of the Western Defense Command and Lt. General John L. DeWitt's office where he issued the military proclamations which authorized the WWII incarceration of Japanese Americans.

The evening will include tours of DeWitt's office, the former Western Defense Command radio room and a special program which highlights the significance of the site and promotes healing for WWII incarceration survivors as well as their descendants.
