We’re honored to share that Perry Architects has received the 2026 PCI Design Award – Harry H. Edwards Industry Advancement Award for the 921 Howard project in San Francisco.

This 18-story, fully affordable housing tower demonstrates how innovative design, efficient construction, and social impact can come together to create meaningful urban housing solutions. Working closely with Willis Construction Co. Inc. and the entire project team, we helped deliver San Francisco’s tallest fully affordable housing high-rise featuring a high-performance thin-shell precast concrete façade system.

We’re grateful to the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) for this recognition and proud of everyone who contributed to making this project a success.

We’re proud to see the updated design renderings for 555 Beale Street (Seawall Lot 330) featured in the latest coverage from San Francisco YIMBY. This waterfront residential project in San Francisco’s Embarcadero district — designed by Grimshaw Architects with Perry Architects, Inc. serving as Executive Architect — thoughtfully balances urban housing needs with respect for the city’s iconic skyline and view corridors.

The development encompasses two residential buildings delivering 619 homes, ground-level retail, and considerate massing that preserves key sightlines along the waterfront. With construction anticipated to begin soon, we’re excited for the positive impact this project will have on the community.

Perry Architects had the privilege of being part of the 921 Howard ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside Mayor London Breed. 921 Howard stands tall with 203 units across 18 stories, making it San Francisco’s highest all-affordable housing project. A big shout-out to TNDC (Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation) and Curtis Development for entrusting us with this impactful endeavor!

Located in the heart of one of San Francisco's most diverse neighborhood, the Mission District, The Fitzgerald is completed and ready for tenants. This 65' high residential project provides 50 market rate housing units as well as 13 below market rate units. Topping the building is a beautiful residential roof deck with panoramic views of the San Francisco’s skyline and surrounding neighborhoods. Anchoring the corner of the development, a 10,000 sf retail space is available at the ground floor ready for the next trendy hot spot in the neighborhood.

We are proud to announce that 921 Howard is completed and ready to move in. This was a great project for the Perry Architects team, and we want to thank TNDC (Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation) and Curtis Development for the opportunity.
921 Howard is a 100% affordable project providing 203 residential units and is currently the tallest all-affordable housing project in San Francisco. Let’s bring more affordable housing to San Francisco!

Exciting news from Walnut Creek. Our residential project with comes to an end. The project provides 3 levels below grade parking with 150 parking spots and 97 residential units with beautiful views of Mount Diablo right in the heart of Walnut Creek.
