The Living Room is open and serving take-away breakfast bags (through a window to the sidewalk) to older adults in need in the Tenderloin. We are assisting 50-55 people each day. We and our clients are most grateful for the support (financial and also gifts of food and supplies) we have received from so many people during this pandemic. In these difficult times it is reassuring and heart warming to know there are lots and lots of people that are doing things to help their fellow human beings. See below for one such example -- a fifteen year old high school student this summer has been providing us with soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes for distribution to the elderly and homeless poor! Wow. Indeed, there is hope for the future of humanity! Thank you, so much, Kiran, and all of our supporters!!

A local theatre troupe, Stress Busters, visits once a month to perform a skit about mental health for everyone. Always funny. Message: stop, breathe, think, then act calmly.
