Sunday Streets in the Bayview! It was wonderful seeing so many Drew families out in the community celebrating connection.

We were happy to welcome our scholars back to school. It was a fabulous day of fun, learning and connection!

Our hearts go out to our Asian American & Pacific Islander brothers & sisters as well as the community in Boulder, CO who've been hurt and killed.

Enrollment applications for Pre-K, TK and 5th grade students are due Friday, February 5th for round 1.

For PK families:
If your child turned age 5 between September 2 and December 2, 2020, your child must apply for Transitional Kindergarten (TK). If your child turned 5 on or before September 1, 2020, your child is eligible for kindergarten.

Previously you had the option to keep your child in PK, and that option is no longer available. Please go to SFUSD to begin the application process this month. See link below. The good news is that we have the fabulous TK teacher, Ms. Liwanag, right here at Drew!

For 5th Grade Families:
Families with students moving on to middle school, our neighborhood school, Willie Brown, is a great option.

All PK, TK and 5th Grade Families:
Use ParentVue to enroll.

If you aren't active on ParentVue, this would be a great time to activate your account. Our, Family Liaison, Ms. Powell, is available to assist you and will be at Drew Wednesday, January 20th between the hours of 10:00am and 1:00pm with paper enrollment forms as well. The paper form will need to be turned in at 555 Franklin before the deadline. Please make sure to have a copy of your child's birth certificate. If you have any questions please contact Ms. Powell at [email protected].

Looking for something fun and festive to do?

Try printing an egg template or drawing an oval and decorating it as an Easter Egg. Tape it to a window so that families passing by going on neighborhood walks can go on an Easter Egg hunt, social-distancing style.

Looking for a hands-on science project that also promotes self-care? Come by Drew tomorrow, Thursday March 26, between 1pm and 2pm to pick up some Organic seeds, soil and planters!

If you need a Chromebook, please come by Drew tomorrow, Thursday March 26, between 11am and 2pm to pick one up. This will be the last time the school is opened to distribute technology.
