Young Mission Dolores (YMD)

Holy Week is upon us! Come join us at Mission Dolores, we will be celebrating Passion Sunday at 8, 10, and noon.

We contributed to pack 18,000 pounds of oranges, apples, and carrots!

Have you been noticing the urge to provide service recently? That is God asking you to help the least of the world. Join us in volunteering at the SF Food Bank on Thursday March 7th from 9-12. Contact Andrés Uribe at Mission Dolores Basilica if you are interested.

Ever feel the longing to give back to the community? Do you know Grace? Come ever first Saturday of the month to the Old Mission for the Young Adult mass and reflection after.

Young Mission Dolores invites you to join us in feeding 60 homeless men on Monday, January 18th (Martin Luther King Day) at 7pm during the annual winter shelter at St. Mark's Lutheran Church near the Archdiocese. See their website: http://stmarks-sf.org/.

We are looking for shoppers, cooks, and servers. Cooking may begin as early as 3pm at St. Mark's large kitchen facility. Serving begins at 7pm. So far, the menu looks like this:

Arroz Con Valenciana (Maria)
Broccoli Casserole (Marisela)
Banana Sundae (Arijit)

We need volunteers to make an appetizer, a salad, and maybe another main dish. Any takers? We also need volunteers to donate or help shop for ingredients and to serve.
